“Lunar Reflections” began as a study in light and dark. The inspiration for this artwork came from the reflection of the full moon on the dark ocean at night, as the light dances on the surface with the movement of the waves. It's the most peaceful place to be and I wanted to capture this magical display. The artwork took a month to complete and was a complex study in design, colour and patience! The surfboard was pre-loved and destined for landfill, so repurposing it into a beautiful artwork that will last forever is a great joy. The artwork has been sealed for display purposes and is not recommended for using in the ocean. It comes with the timber stand as shown in the first image but this artwork would also look great displayed horizontally on the wall. 'Revelation' was inspired by the arrival of Spring after a long Winter living in Germany. The sunshine and new plant life popping up after many months of snow and ice was so exciting. Another inspiration in this artwork was a fabulous peacock I spotted strutting around. I couldn’t forget his amazing feather display, and this worked its way into my artwork, along with the delicate dandelions that appear with the warmer weather. 'Revelation' is the result of over 200 hours of drawing. A combination of simple drawing techniques were used to create shading, tone and depth. The artwork was drawn with a combination of pigment liner pens ranging in size from 0.05mm – 1.0mm. All shading was achieved using the stippling technique, the result of thousands of dots with a 0.05mm pen.- Giclée fine art print on 100% cotton rag paper (310gsm)

“Surfboard - Free as a Bird” was an absolute please to create. It is one of the brightest, most joyful pieces I’ve created and is my first artwork on a surfboard. Having worked on it over a few months, it became my symbol of freedom and beacon of hope for a brighter future during these uncertain times. This surfboard was originally destined for landfill so creating a beautiful artwork that will last forever was an added bonus. The artwork has been sealed for display purposes and is not recommended for using in the ocean. It comes with the timber stand as shown in the first image. ‘Embrace’ evolved with such a beautiful flow and was a real pleasure to draw. The inspiration for this artwork was purely intuitive and is the result of my meditative drawing practice. This is one of my all-time favourite artworks with the heavy black areas in the centre and outer rings balancing the delicate centre design perfectly.
